Looking For A Function

I am looking for a function
y = f(x1,x2...,xn)
such that given y and n, it would be possible to uniquely determine each of the x-factors.

1) It's OK for n to have an upper bound k, if k>=10 or so.
2) It is also essential that y be small

Any pointers would be welcome.
